Andrew Demcak's new book of poetry, Catching Tigers in Red Weather, won the Three Candles Press Open Book Award. Its publication is forthcoming in November 2007 from Three Candles Press. Read his poetry here.

Charles Freeland teaches at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. Recent work appears in Jubilat, Margie, The Cincinnati Review, The Hollins Critic, 42opus and Cream City Review. Karin Kroetlinger was born in Vienna in 1983, where she is presently studying Print Graphics at the Vienna School of Arts. She is currently nominated for the Othmar Seidner-Prize for young authors, and her poems have appeared in Otoliths Magazine and The Flask Review. She writes mostly in German, but translates all her work herself. Read her poetry here.

Ellyn Lichvar will earn her MFA in Creative Writing in November 2007 from Spalding University in Louisville, KY. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The Louisville Review, Poem, Blood Lotus, Louisville Eccentric Observer, Salt, and others. Aleah Sato is a marketing manager and co-owner of Ricksticks Inc, a visual communications firm in Toronto. She is the author of the recently released book Badlands and the forthcoming Stillborn Wilderness (Pooka Press, 2007).
