Luivette Resto-Ometeotl was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico but proudly raised in the Bronx. She has a MFA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a BA from Cornell University. Currently, she lives in Los Angeles with her husband Jose and newborn son Antonio. Read her poetry here.
