She has been on the steering committees of two college based literary magazines and has worked on
Water~Stone Review as a student editor. She writes primarily poetry and criticism. In addition to her literary career,
she is a college instructor, a professional post-modern dancer, and a punk rock fashion model.

Andrew Tyler McCown
has been published in the literary magazines of Triton College and the
University of Northern Colorado, where he is a student who ditches
chemistry lab to go snowboarding. His work has also been featured on KRFC's radio broadcast, "The Poetry Show."

Tim Poland
lives and works in the New River Valley near the Blue Ridge Mountains in
southwestern Virginia and teaches American literature and creative writing at Radford
University. He is the author of Escapee (America House, 2001), a collection of short
fiction. His work has also been published in The Beloit Fiction Journal, Timber
Creek Review, Literal Latté, The Georgetown Review, Acorn Whistle, The Edge City Review,
Main Street Rag, Sow's Ear Poetry Review, Appalachian Journal, and Appalachian Heritage.
In 2002, he received the Denny C. Plattner/Appalachian Heritage Award for creative non-fiction.
